1. Who we are
ScriptZaar (scriptzaar.com) is an online shop for self-hosted business software, run by an independent software developer based in Pakistan. In these terms, "we" and "us" means ScriptZaar, and "you" means the person or business using the website or buying from it. You can reach us at support@scriptzaar.com.
2. Buying software
Orders are processed by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles the payment, the receipt and any sales tax or VAT for your country. When you check out, Lemon Squeezy's own buyer terms also apply to the payment. We never see or store your card details.
Prices are shown in US dollars. Your bank may convert the amount to your own currency, and local taxes may be added at checkout.
3. What you receive
After payment you get a download link for the software and its documentation, and a license to use it as described on our license page. Each product page lists what is included, the server requirements and the version.
4. License
Software is licensed, not sold. Each purchase allows one installation. The full rules are on the license page, which is part of these terms.
5. Updates and support
Every purchase includes free updates for the life of the product and 12 months of support from the developer. What support covers is explained on the support page.
6. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our refund policy.
7. Your responsibilities
- Check the requirements on the product page before buying (or ask us).
- Keep your own backups of your data and your server.
- Use the software lawfully — for example, follow the privacy and employment laws of your country when you store staff or customer data.
- Keep your login details and license safe.
8. Limits of our responsibility
We build and test our software carefully and fix real bugs that are reported to us. However, the software runs on your server, with your settings and your data, which we do not control. To the extent the law allows:
- the software is provided as described on its product page, without other promises;
- we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost data or business interruption;
- our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country that cannot be limited.
9. The website and its content
Text, images, logos and code on this website belong to ScriptZaar unless stated otherwise. Our guides are free to read and share with a link back; please do not copy them in full onto another website. Brand names of other companies (for example ZKTeco or eSSL) belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms that applied when you bought a product continue to apply to that purchase.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If there is a disagreement, please write to us first — almost every problem can be solved by email.
